Women’s Cricket Collection

Kent Cricket are leading the way in researching the history of the women’s game in our County. 

Within the “Research” section of this site, you may have found some of the results of our work with a list of early games played prior to the establishment of the Kent Women’s Cricket Association. 

We know that this will be an on-going project for many years as we continually make contact with past players and discover a number of scores, anecdotes, and documents which we do not currently have. 

As a US politician once said : “There’s lots we know, and lots we know that we don’t know.  But there are also things we don’t know that we don’t know”!  If you are able to help with our research and fill in some of the gaps that remain, we would be delighted to hear from you.

The Kent Cricket collection includes many items which have been generously donated to us by past players and their families.
