Spitfire Ground Tours

Your chance to go behind the scenes of one of the most historic County Cricket grounds in the world, with a tailor-made tour of the iconic buildings, stands and features that make up the St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury. Led by experienced & knowledgeable guides, you will visit parts that other spectators cannot always reach, and learn about the people, events & trees that have made our home so famous & well-loved.

Tours begin at 13:00 on match days and at 11:00 on non-match days.

Adults: £ 5.00
Under 14s: Free*

* Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

Each tour will last around 60 – 90 minutes

Tours that fall on matchdays are subject to availability and may differ from non-matchday tours. N.B. An additional matchday ticket is required to gain access to the Ground. Matchday tickets can be purchased via the Club website.

Each Tour will take groups of between 12 and 20 people and takes in the whole Ground and its many landmarks. Stops will also be made to the Club Shop and Oriole at Lime Tree Café for refreshments.

We cannot arrange tours on T20 Blast days . Otherwise we can manage most dates during the summer. If you choose a date on which there is no game, we may well be allowed to show you the players’ dressing rooms, which is an added attraction for those with a poor sense of smell!
